VMware GSX Server 3.2 supports Dual Core processors
Jul 14th
VMware has released last friday a minor release update of their VMware GSX server product version 3.2. One of the key new ‘features’ is support for dual core. VMware is treating a Dual Core processor as one single processor. In the EULA it states: A “Processor” means a single, physical chip that houses no more than two (2) processor cores.
Besides the support for Dual Core processors, more operating systems are supported and there is support for Clustering with the I-SCSI protocol (for the host and virtual machines).
