NEW BETA RELEASE – vAudit

Well after a few hours of programming, I am happy to make my latest utility available. The program is called vAudit and it allows you to audit your VMware View environments. vAudit will show you when your users are working with their desktops in an easy timeline.
VMware View connection brokers log all user activity in the windows eventlog, as this is not an easy format to use (understatement) I wrote this utility. I will add some extra features in the near future. Working on displaying unsuccessful login attempts, so you can see if any serious intruders are trying to get access to your environment.

Great tool. I am unable to see the complete user name on the left. Is there a way to expand that column?
Also, any plans on being able to export to a spreadsheet?
Thanks.

A crash I am encountering that I thought would be helpful to you. When I click Get Information using a View 3.0.1 server I get this error. I can continue, but only 1 desktop is populated:
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application.
Argument ‘Length’ must be greater or equal to zero.
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

Installed app on View 3.10 server. Fill in requested info (ip, user, password, timeline). Click “Get information” – cursor turns into hourglass for a few seconds then nothing (other than dates & times) appears in the window below. Have tried on both View 3.10 & 3.01 with the same results. Have adjusted timeline scale, column width, dates, etc. All reveal nothing in the window. Unless I can get any help, gonna have to ditch this utility.

Great APP. I noticed it only shows uses from external users. It would be nice if it also showed in house users. I have users in house that use thin clients to hit a virtual. V-Audit isn’t showing those connections
